A founding meeting
David Joubert meets professor Dominique Legendre in Toulouse, the starting point of the project.
2015
Kepplair Evolution is founded
The company is officially founded to carry the project forward.
2017
First patent filed
The electric drop system that will become the KEDS is the subject of a first patent filing.
2019
First industrial partnerships
Aeronautical partners join the project to accelerate its maturity.
2021
France 2030 laureate
Kepplair Evolution is selected as part of the France 2030 plan, confirming institutional backing for the project.
2022
KEPPLAIR 72 concept validated
The feasibility study confirms the technical viability of converting the ATR 72.
2026
First prototype delivered
The ATR 72 converted by Aerotec & Concept arrives in Toulouse-Blagnac, ahead of the first drop tests planned for late 2026.
